Listing Terms

These terms apply when you submit an AI tool to Ellnow or buy a paid option: Fast-track review or a Featured placement. By submitting a tool or paying, you agree to them.

1. What we list

Ellnow lists AI tools that people can sign up for and use directly. We list each product once, and we don't accept duplicate or copycat listings. We decide which tools to list, and we may decline any submission.

2. What we don't accept

We don't list, and don't sell placements to:

• crypto, trading or investment products
• gambling websites
• NSFW or adult tools
• AI girlfriend or companion apps
• uncensored or unfiltered AI
• products that aren't AI-related
• tools that edit real people's photos in invasive ways, such as clothing changers or undressing tools
• watermark, logo or caption removers
• downloaders of other people's content, such as videos from social platforms
• copycat or duplicate sites of a product we already list
• single-trend meme generators built around one viral template

3. Review options

• Free review: no charge. We usually review free submissions within 2–4 weeks. That is a target, not a promise.
• Fast-track review: a one-time fee of $19 (USD). We review Fast-track submissions within 48 hours of payment.

4. What the Fast-track fee covers

The fee pays for a faster review, and nothing else. It does not guarantee:

• approval or a listing
• a particular position, category or score
• traffic, search rankings, clicks, sign-ups or sales

Paying the fee does not affect a tool's editor's score or where it appears in the directory.

5. Featured placements

We offer two paid placements, each for 30 days: Homepage Spotlight and Category Featured. Current prices are on the Advertise page.

• Your tool must be listed on Ellnow, or approved through review, before a placement starts.
• Placements are labeled "Featured," and their links are marked as sponsored.
• A placement doesn't change a tool's score, and it doesn't guarantee traffic, clicks, sign-ups or sales.
• A placement ends on its own after 30 days. There's no automatic renewal.

6. Refunds

• If we don't approve your tool, we refund the full $19.
• If we don't finish the review within 48 hours of payment, you can ask for a full refund, even if the tool is later approved.
• Once your tool is approved and listed, the fee is not refundable.
• Featured placements: if we can't run your placement, for example because the tool isn't approved or is on the not-accepted list, we refund the full amount. Once a placement has started, it's not refundable.

We send refunds to the original payment method. Your bank may take a few business days to show them.

7. Your submission

When you submit a tool, you confirm that:

• the information you give us is accurate
• you own or represent the tool, or have permission to submit it
• we may show the tool's name, description, website link and logo on Ellnow

We may edit descriptions for clarity, length and consistency, and we may assign the category that fits best.

8. Changes to listings

We may update or remove a listing later. For example, we may do this if a tool shuts down, changes significantly, misleads users, or no longer meets this policy. If we remove a listing after it was approved, the Fast-track fee is not refunded. If we remove it during a Featured placement because it broke this policy, that placement isn't refunded either. To change your listing's details, email us.

9. Scores, affiliate links and paid placements

Scores on Ellnow are editor's scores, not user reviews. Some outbound links are affiliate links, which means Ellnow may earn a commission if a visitor signs up. Affiliate relationships and paid placements don't affect which tools we list or how we score them.

10. Questions and disputes

If something isn't right, email hello@ellnow.com before contacting your bank. We usually reply within 2 business days, and we'll work to resolve the problem, including with a refund where these terms allow one.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when we last changed them. The terms in place when you paid apply to that payment.
